BYD has given its ATTO 3 a significant update for 2026, bringing revised styling, a redesigned cabin and a new rear-wheel-drive Premium variant with substantially more power and faster charging.
While the ATTO 3 EVO retains the outgoing model’s dimensions and 2,720mm wheelbase, it gains a revised exterior with sharper detailing, full-width rear lighting and new 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the gear selector has moved to the steering column, freeing up space in the centre console, while the digital driver display grows from 5.0 to 8.8 inches.
The bigger change comes with the Premium, which swaps the previous front-drive configuration for a 230kW/380Nm rear-mounted electric motor. A 74.88kWh battery gives it a claimed 510km WLTP range and 5.5-second 0-100km/h acceleration.
The Premium also moves to an 800V electrical architecture, allowing DC charging at up to 220kW and a 10-80 per cent charge in a claimed 25 minutes.
The entry Dynamic retains front-wheel drive, with 150kW and 310Nm, a 60.48kWh battery and 420km WLTP range.
The ATTO 3 EVO is priced from $41,990 for the Dynamic and $46,990 for the Premium, excluding on-road costs, with Australian deliveries commencing in September.
